RTÉjr & Studio Meala Presents: Doodle Girl Sat March 23rd at 10am. St James Church, Dingle
Join Studio Meala as they take you through the strange and wonderful world of Doodle Girl before it lands on RTÉjr later this year!
In this presentation, the Meala crew will talk you through the development of their upcoming show from script, artstyle, animation, to production.. You’ll also find out how they collaborated with RTÉjr and Alt Animation to make this show happen!
‘‘But Studio Meala, I hate listening to people talk, I want to see CLIPS!’’
Well firstly, thanks for your honesty. Secondly, we’ll have HEAPS of clips! Want to see some behind the scenes footage from Animatics, Rough Animation Tests and other behind the scenes stuff? We’ve got it! How about some previews of finished episodes? We’ve got that too! And you’ll learn how we made them!
As if that isn’t enough, you’ll also have the opportunity to ask us QUESTIONS! (As long as they’re about Doodle Girl, or ATLEAST about animation)
See you there!
Keep Doodling!

Jon Preston Branding Workshop: Sat March 23rd at 2.30pm. St James Church, Dingle
With an increasing number of platforms audiences can watch shows on, it’s more important than ever to have a visual identity and tone of voice that cuts through the noise, makes an impact, and defines a brand’s personality across all marketing.
In this workshop, Jon Preston – VP Creative Director Kids & Family, UK & International for Paramount will take us through how the 2023 Nickelodeon Re-Brand came to life, the creative choices that were made along the way, and how important it is to have a brand identity that’s built for global, multiplatform use. We’ll see some amazing work along the way, including the Emmy Award winning image campaign that kicked off the re-brand, and delve into how Nickelodeon uses character animation and motion graphics to drive it’s brand personality.
