CCIS Welcomes Three New Team Members

We are thrilled to announce the addition of three exceptional professionals to the Cultural and Creative Industries Skillnet (CCIS) team. With a wealth of experience and dedication to their respective fields, Fran Keaveney, Barbara Henkes, and Lindsey Adams bring invaluable expertise that will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and success of our organisation.


Fran Keaveney – Skills & Talent Development Manager (Film, TV, Events, Media & Broadcasting)

Fran Keaveney joins us as the Skills & Talent Development Manager, bringing over 30 years of industry experience. Her extensive background in the Irish screen industry includes significant roles in production and location departments. Fran has worked for many years with Screen Ireland (formerly the Irish Film Board) and has also been a tutor at the Huston School of Film and Digital Media at NUIG. Additionally, she has served as an assessor with the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland. Before joining CCIS, Fran was the Skills Development Executive for Film & TV Drama with Screen Ireland. Her deep industry knowledge and commitment to talent development make her a valuable asset to our team.

Barbara Henkes – Manager of National Talent Academy for VFX

Barbara Henkes steps into the role of Manager of the National Talent Academy for VFX. With a career spanning over 25 years, Barbara began her journey in the industry by working in the camera department and post-production. She managed the Equipment Department in Filmbase and later joined Screen Ireland as the Programme Manager for Screen Leaders, a company development and leadership program. Barbara has consistently facilitated numerous training programs and continues to dedicate herself to her craft as an editor. Her extensive experience and passion for nurturing talent in the VFX sector will be instrumental in advancing our strategic objectives in this field.

Lindsey Adams – Marketing, Communications & Events Executive

Lindsey Adams joins us as the Marketing, Communications & Events Executive, bringing a diverse and rich background from over 20 years in the animation industry. Throughout her career, Lindsey has excelled in various development, production, training, and leadership roles. As the founder of her own company, she is a strong advocate for inclusivity and understands the critical importance of providing accessible, continuous learning opportunities in the creative sectors. Her dedication to championing DEIB initiatives will be key in driving our outreach and engagement efforts.
