Cultural & Creative Industries Skillnet, Boulder Media, Animation Ireland, and The National Talent Academy for Animation are excited to welcome Emmy-nominated Animation Producer/Director Pete Michels to Dublin to present this masterclass.
WHAT WILL THIS MASTERCLASS COVER?
This masterclass aims to delve into the craft of directing animated comedy. How do you best stage scenes for comedy? How do you take a scene and make it funnier in animation? What is the writing, storyboarding and editing process really like on an animated sitcom? What even is directing anyway?
In this conversation, Pete will share his perspective on all these questions and more, with clips from his work over the years to illustrate.
