Overview

Participants in this course will get an understanding of the importance of the language used in organisations and its’ origins. It will outline why storytelling is a powerful method to apply to communications in modern organisations.

You will review and assess two storytelling techniques that can be applied. Participants will receive an approach to presentations in three parts, namely, what to do before you begin, tools to help build your presentation, and tips for after your
presentation.

The day will include individual and group exercises to bring these techniques to life.

This course is suitable for anyone working in the creative industries that would like to improve their communication and presentation skills.

Tutor information

Rory Martin is Director of Strategy and Business Development at Sky with over 20 years’
experience working with C-Suite and Board level in multinationals. His passion for making the
most of our finite resource, time, led him to creating this module to help participants
communicate more effectively.
