Overview

This interactive, 3-day workshop is an excellent choice for anyone working in the screen industry who wants to attain core management skills and a recognised QQI level 6 certificate in managing people.

The Managing People course looks at the role and responsibilities of a manager, along with the key management techniques you need to achieve results.

The course covers all aspects of managing and motivating others such as effective communication skills, team building, and performance management. This course is a balanced blend of theoretical learning with discussions and practical activities to build your confidence.

To achieve certification there will be a project, learner’s record and assignment to be completed at the end of the course.

Deborah is a creative trainer and coach known for her dynamic, motivating and supportive style. Her work integrates multidisciplinary insights from various fields of psychology, education and business management.

An experienced people manager working across multinationals and professional services, with strong commercial aptitude and organisational skills, Deborah has delivered a variety of leadership, management and soft skills training at both certificate and QQI Level. 

She offers an approach to learning and development that is integrative and holistic, helping individuals and organisations navigate complexity, uncover pain-points and areas of improvement. 

By designing and facilitating tailor-made training programmes that ignite self-awareness as one of the key components to learning, Deborah ensures psychological safety is at the core of her method.

She is also noted for her ability to retain learners’ interest in an informal, respectful and engaging manner while simultaneously ensuring that the key learning outcomes are achieved.
