Cultural & Creative Industries Skillnet and Animation Ireland with the support of Coimisiún na Meán are delighted to host Sarah Maizes, President and Executive Producer at Cheeky Squirrel Productions, for this workshop.
What will this course cover?
Prepping Your Animation Pitch For A Global Market will give you honest and valuable insight into the considerations and review process that buyers, streamers, and production partners consider when they assess your pitch for TV, Feature, Specials, and Digital. To make the most of this information, Sarah will also share useful advice on how to best build and structure your pitch so you have the best chance at success.

This workshop is aimed at producers based in Ireland who wish to develop animation projects or currently have animation projects ready to pitch to global partners or buyers.

Sarah Maizes is President and Executive Producer at Cheeky Squirrel Productions, a 360° media company specializing in building brands, and the hands-on development and production of innovative and impactful content (animation and live-action) that lives at the intersection of storytelling and technology.
As a 25-plus year veteran of the family and kids space, Sarah has held executive roles at Amazon Kids+, the Jim Henson Company, Mattel, Nelvana, and William Morris Endeavor where she has represented, developed, and produced successful – and award-winning -content across genres, demographics, and technologies for global partners and megafranchises such as BARBIE, BATMAN, HELLO KITTY, ANGRY BIRDS, and CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS.
