What will this course cover?

Section 481 is a tax credit, incentivising film & TV production made in Ireland, administered by the Revenue Commissioners. These workshops will be developed and delivered by legal experts and will be relevant to almost everyone engaged in animation. Focus will be on the following themes:

  • 1. Intellectual Property Law – this workshop has already happened.
  • 2. Section 481 – June 26th
  • 3. International Co-production considerations – date TBC
  • 4. Funding agencies – date TBC
  • 5. Production Legal – date TBC
  • 6. Music and talent – date TBC

It should be noted that these workshops are educational in nature and not to be considered legal advice specific to your circumstances. If you need assistance you should always consult independent legal advice.
