A unique, part-time evening course taking you through the core concepts of animating and building characters in Toon Boom Harmony. If you’re new to the software then often a tutor-led course is one of the best ways to keep yourself accountable and gradually build the skills you’ll need to work in the animation industry. You will be part of a small group of like-minded participants who will learn together and have the chance to chat about your progress and other course related topics in a private group. This is also a great motivator!

Each week we’ll meet live and online to go through some new concepts and ask questions. Then you’ll have a week to practice on a short task, with every participant eligible for individual, professional feedback and review.

All participants will have access to Toon Boon Harmony for the duration of the course. Classes will be recorded and available for catch up anytime during the week, as well as course materials and resources on a special section of the Adam’s Animation Academy website.

What will this course cover?

During the 8 weeks we’ll broadly go over the following topics:

  • Key drawing tools
  • Traditional animation
  • Cut-out animation
  • Building characters
  • Exporting your animation
