Overview
Unscripted Production Managers are responsible for the day-to-day management of an unscripted production including, but not limited to, the logistics, budget, contracts, crewing, schedule, insurance, H&S & relevant post production paperwork.
What will this course cover?
The course will also include a set visit for the set-up day for a large entertainment series.
At the end of this course you will be able to:
Learning outcomes
- Schedule a large scale entertainment series
- Identify the elements a PM needs to put in place to set up a multi camera shoot on location or in a studio environment
- Explain how to covert locations into a studio set up.
- Explain the build & rig requirements.
- Identify the additional budget lines that need to be included for high end entertainment shows.
- Identify the relevant paperwork that needs to be in place before build commences – risk assessments from all suppliers, production risk assessments, company H&S statement, location contract, crew contracts etc.
- Understand all relevant paperwork for each production
- Identify the necessary skills required to manage a large production crew & all departments.
